On behalf of Kind Connections and MPIT, we would like to thank everyone who have supported this cause in the past from our local community and local mas’ajids. Thank you so much, amazing people like you help us make a difference in our community. We hope to continue help support vulnerable people around our area.
Mount Pleasant Islamic Trust has been supporting our local charity Batley Foodbank and Fusion in Dewsbury for over 4 years. We now also support individual / family who are elderly or vulnerable and requires assistance, If you believe that there is someone you know who is in this situation then please email Kindconnections@hotmail.com. We will be more than happy to take their details.
With our local community volunteers supporting this cause helping those who are struggling with weekly provisions. The scheme works via a referral application from the council who are eligible to gain food donations from the charity.
As with any referral we will always complete due diligence to ensure the best support is received, this means that sometimes a referral may be directed towards a different organisation. To assist those that are in most need within our community. We will be providing basic non-perishable food packs (classified as level 2 support within Kirklees).
With the help of our mas’ajids to identify the most vulnerable within our community, this will ensure we can support the well-being of the elderly and increasing number of vulnerable people, at this difficult time.
Finally, and most importantly, please remember us and the Ummah in your blessed Duas.
